It’s been a while since I posted here. Truth is, I haven’t had much to say. I’ve been down to Fort Morgan three times since my last post and hadn’t felt inspired to share anything exciting.
The first trip yielded four nice Redfish after many hours of drifting. All four fish were caught at night on an incoming tide. The second trip produced zero Redfish. We tried incoming and outgoing tide. We fished morning, mid day, and evening. Nothing. The third trip also produced zero Redfish. All of these trips were in late September with strong tides.
I’ve heard from locals that the Redfish aren’t as numerous at the Bar as they used to be. Maybe overfishing has gotten to them…
